Are you interesting in giving your time to the kitchen remodel? Do you have a particular skill that could apply to remodeling a kitchen? Can you install cabinets or paint? Do you have experience in framing or carpentry? Add this to your cart and provide your contact details and we will be in touch!

Join us in re-painting the kitchen! If you take a look around, you see paint and plaster chipping off the walls. As we repair and move things around, we will be fixing up the walls and repainting them a lovely clean white.

Help us update our windows! We will be replacing three windows in the kitchen. Our new windows will be tempered safety glass, and all three are able to be opened to allow great airflow.

Help us update our electrical system! We will be adding new lighting, moving appliances, and cleaning up unnecessary and old wiring. We will also be adding extra circuits which will allow us to plug in a large number of slow cookers and appliances at the same time and not pop any circuits!

Help us update our flooring! We will be removing the existing vinyl floor - repairing any issues with the sub floor - and replacing with new heavy duty sheet vinyl.

Help us update our plumbing! We will be adding a handwashing sink right by the entrance to the kitchen, updating our dishwasher, and moving our dishwashing area to allow for better workflow. In addition, we are piping water into the Fellowship Hall to add a coffee bar! This will free up the kitchen space for event prep, and make coffee serving 10x easier!

A new handwashing sink will be installed right in the entry to the kitchen. This will be a great opportunity to increase the cleanliness of all who participate in event preparation, but also keeps our work areas open for other activities.

New lighting in the kitchen will allow us to light up the kitchen island for food prep - and to allow softer lighting when necessary.

Just imagine - when there are 6 slow cookers full of different soups laid out on the coffee bar countertop - this lighting will allow you to see the delicious ingredients and help you successfully decide which soup to eat!

Would you believe me if I told you that there is vent above the cooking are in the kitchen? There is! But it is a tiny little thing that when you turn it on, sounds like you are 20 feet from a space shuttle launch. So…. this is the replacement!

If you’ve been in the kitchen recently - what you thought was an ancient relic (possibly of alien origins) is actually our dishwasher. 99% of people don’t know how to use it. 100% of people don’t want to have to use it!

We are replacing the old dishwasher with a new, undercounter, high temperature, sanitizing, steam elimination and energy recovering unit that everyone can use!

Have you ever tried to make coffee at FPC and thought, “how the heck am I supposed to use this contraption?” Us, too! With this lovely new coffee brewer, Cafe’ Pres servers will be able to easily provide you the delicious coffee beverages you enjoy every Sunday, without pulling their hair out. This unit also provides hot water on demand!

We are replacing our existing 30-gallon water heater with a new, similar version - partly because it’s over 20 years old, and partly because sometimes you replace things while you’ve got the plumber already at the house and working on the kitchen!

These Bunn Airpots will fit perfectly into our new coffee brewer and will allow us to provide hot beverages for Sunday worship services, memorials, and the many events we support each year!

This beverage fridge will live in the Fellowship Hall coffee bar area - and will provide easy access to half-and-half for those who love a milky beverage. By putting Cafe’ Pres items in this mini-fridge outside the kitchen, we will reduce traffic and allow easier access for those who serve us coffee every Sunday!

This 54” freezer will replace the two small freezers that live below our refrigerators - and the stand alone freezer that is currently residing in the lost and found/coat area. What an amazing gift to be able to hold all our frozen goods in one area!!!

This 54” refrigerator will replace our existing two refrigerators! Improved energy efficiency and efficiency, along with no longer having a old appliance leaking water into the middle of the kitchen will be amazing!
