WEEK 1

Questions-

  • What parts of the Christian faith do you find hardest to believe?  
  • How has doubt allowed you to grow?  
  • Has there been anything in your faith that you were once certain of that you now doubt?  Or something you used to doubt that you are now certain of?

WEEK 2

DISTORTED DISCIPLES – MARY MAGDALENE

Luke 8:1-3, John 20:14-17

God can heal our trauma and through it calls us into deeper relationship.

Questions-

  • What trauma have you experienced?
  • Where do you feel it?
  • How has Jesus healed you?
  • Where do you still seek healing?
  • How does this make you a more devoted disciple?

WEEK 3

John 12:1-8, Matthew 27:3-5

Judas & the Man of Sorrows

  • What would make Judas do what he did?
  • Are there possible motivations that don’t seem evil?
  • Do you think he felt bad about it?
  • What good did Judas bring to the body?
  • What was his fatal flaw?
  • Where do you need grace?

SERVICE SUNDAY – LOADS & BURDENS

Keeping company with Jesus is not laborious or ill-fitting, we each have unforced rhythms of grace..

  • What do you consider laborious?
  • What work do you consider to be free and light?
  • What Christian practices have felt ill-fitting in your life?
  • What are some unforced rhythms of grace in your life?
  • What does it look like for you to keep company with Jesus?
