Lindsay Anderson
Lindsay has spent over a third of her life involved with the INN because she is deeply passionate about young adults meeting and being redeemed by God’s grace through Jesus and continuing to grow by the work of the Holy Spirit. Walking alongside students, hearing their stories, reading the Bible with them, and helping them process big questions is an incredible job to get to do each day and she is greatly blessed to come to work here each day. Lindsay also really loves coffee, which is convenient because working at the INN means you get to drink a lot of it!
Originally from Tacoma, WA, Lindsay came to Bellingham, FPC, and the INN in 1998 as a freshman at WWU. In 2002, she graduated with a B.A. in Human Services, a degree which equips people to work in the fields of social work, counseling, rehabilitation, non-profit management, and incidentally campus ministry. Before coming to work full-time at the INN, Lindsay has spent many summers as a camp counselor, interned at Habitat for Humanity, coordinated weddings and the nursery at FPC, and worked in the Outdoor Industry at McNett Corporation.
Lindsay is wife to Kyle, a recent M-Div grad at Fuller Theological Seminary, and together they have two fun and funny little kids. As a family they love biking around Bellingham, getting ice cream at Mallard’s, visiting the Farmer’s Market, playing games, reading books, and spending time with friends. Lindsay also loves to run, bake, and cook and is always on the look-out for other people who love any or all three of those activities!
At the INN, on top of meeting daily with students, Lindsay primarily works with Small Groups, Student Leadership, and Retreats.
