Lance Fisher

Lance Fisher is currently on sabbatical through December, 2008.

Lance joined FPC staff in November 2005 in the part-time position of Contemporary Worship Director. He leads one of our music teams and helps coordinate our worship for the 11 a.m. service. For many years Lance has led worship with a wide variety of groups ranging from summer camps to retreats to Sunday church services. He also has experience as a songwriter and performer both solo and with several area bands. Lance is originally from the Vancouver, WA area and a (twice) graduate of WWU with an MA in English.

On May 29, 2007, Lance and CJ welcomed their new baby son, Paxon Wheeler, into this world!  When they do have free time, Lance prefers to spend time with his wife, Cathy Jo (and now Paxon!), who teaches sixth grade at Shuksan Middle School. They enjoy spending time with friends, good food, managing their Netflix queue and reading books in the summer sun. Beyond that, you'll probably find Lance drinking a double short Americano with room and dreaming about an ambitious house project.
