Tracy Imbach Since 2005, Tracy has been serving at First Presbyterian primarily as the Church Administrator. Since returning from maternity leave in September, 2008, Tracy has been working with Small Groups, Finance, Personnel, Communications and office operations.Tracy is a native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and graduated from High School in Falls Church, Virginia. Tracy spent 41/2 studying Hotel, Restaurant Management at Penn State University and then moved to Washington D.C. to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. It wasn't until after college, while living in D.C., that Tracy committed herself to a life-long journey of following Jesus and discovered a passion for church ministry. After 10 years of living and working in D.C, Tracy moved to Vancouver B.C. to attend Regent College. What was intended to be a "sabbatical" year of study and reflection around questions of calling, turned out to be a 4-year adventure of learning, wrestling, growing and even a Master Degree in Christian Studies. In 2003, after graduating from Regent, Tracy married Thad Imbach. They settled in Vancouver as Tracy finished a 2-year contract as a Church Administrator at First Baptist Church. In the Summer of 2004 Tracy and Thad moved to Bellingham to be closer to Thad's work and family. Then in 2005, when it was clear that FPC needed help in the midst of Cris Hageman's illness (FPC's Administrator), Tracy was available to step in and help as needed. God certainly has his plans for all of us. Tracy has now been serving full-time at FPC for over 3 years. In addition, Tracy and Thad just returned from Thailand after adopting their son Caleb. |
