Maundy Thursday and Good Friday at Home

We hope you will find creative ways to engage with the story of

the Last Supper and Good Friday through our Holy Week at home packets, found here.

As we journey with Jesus towards death, we recognize just how much death is a part of life. In order for resurrection to occur, death had to happen first. Faith helps us face death personally, but what about those who are left to grieve us? Let’s work together to find helpful ways of making our leaving easy on those we love.
Maybe you struggle to talk about death yourself, or perhaps you are ready to talk about it but family members don’t want to face plans with you. Maybe you have just been procrastinating getting things in writing! Our Faith Community Nurses are hosting an Advanced Care Directives Zoom conversation Thursday April 16th at 10:30am and hope you will join us! April 16th is also National Health Care Decision Day, so there is no time like the present!
If you are breathing, this opportunity is for you. Our faith compels us to find hope in the resurrection of Christ, and to care for those around us. Preparing for death (which can happen at any time) is one way to care for those you love most.
Join us for a Zoom conversation with Bonnie Bizzell who works with Honoring Choices PNW, on Thursday April 16th, 2020 at 10:30AM
