Caregiver Support Group
Meets the 4th Sunday of the month
Starting October 28th
During the 2nd service, downstairs in the nursery from 10:45-12pm
Faith Community Nurses at FPC are offering a monthly support group for family members who are caring for a loved one, either locally or from a distance. Caring for a family member can present many rewards and also challenges. Support groups are a safe place where you meet with others who are dealing with similar issues—a place where you realize you are not alone. It is an opportunity to give and receive helpful suggestions and to learn more about community resources.
Faith Community Nurses at FPC desire to work alongside our pastoral staff and deacons to address needs of our church body, meeting with people both 1:1 and in group settings. Our desire is to provide education, health advocacy and act as a liaison to agencies and support services.
Help us establish our program at FPC—let us know your health interests and how we can help!
