Faith & Finances Giving Workshop

Faith and Finance; extending our mission into the future

Time, talent and treasures are all gifts from God. Some are quite obvious and used every day, some may be growing with practice and others may yet to be discovered. Have you ever considered how God would like you to use your treasures not only today but also into the future?

There are many ways to give of our treasures. Come and learn how you can impact God’s work today and into the future. Birchwood Presbyterian Church, in partnership with First Presbyterian Church and St. James Presbyterian Church will sponsor a free four-hour workshop on Saturday, Oct 7th from 9 am till 1 pm at BPC. Speakers will include Rev. Dr. Rob Hagan, Ministry Relations Officer from the Northwest Region Presbyterian Foundation, Brian Ives, an attorney specializing in estate planning and Steve Bass, a CPA.   Whether you are young and have a family, helping parents with their will, updating your estate plan or seeking a better understanding of how you can continue God’s work in the future, this workshop will have something for you. Topics will include reasons for giving, a variety of charitable vehicles, estate planning, probate and tax issues as well as case studies to help better understand how good planning can help your family as well as God’s work on our community.

Please RSVP here by October 2.

Hope to see you there.
